you can be surrounded by green fields.
It is close to 3 international

flying directly here.
As well as being home
to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford also has a

FAQs
Will I be OK if I come
alone?
Yes! The trips are designed
for people who want to travel as part of a group. You
will be roomed with someone of the sex unless you
specifically request and pay for a single room. That
doesn’t mean the trips are only aimed at single
travellers however, as we welcome couples or friends
travelling together.
Is there much walking
involved in the trip?
This is not a walking holiday
but there are opportunities for a leg stretch if you
like. Alternative arrangements can be made if it
involves getting a taxi for example but this may involve
a small extra cost.
Is there much free
time to explore independently?
There is as much free time as
you like! If you want to use the trip as a means of
getting around and visiting places but having it all
organised for you then that’s fine. On the other hand
one of the benefits of the trip is being a part of a
group and enjoying meeting new people and the group
spirit.
What kind of
restaurants will we eat in?
Stratford has a variety of
excellent restaurants with food from around the world as
well as atmospheric pubs and traditional English food.
Some group meals will be organised to and also some
"free" evenings where you can go and explore and
experiment!
I don’t want to share
a room with someone I don’t know! What if I don’t like
them?!
The rooms for the trip are
booked on a twin share basis. However, if you are
concerned about sharing with someone you don’t know you
can pay a single supplement to ensure you have your own
room.
How much money should
I bring with me?
There is no exact answer to
this question. It is easy to change Traveller’s Cheques,
foreign currency and withdraw money from cash machines
in Stratford. There are guidelines for costs of meals,
drinks, optional excursions etc in the pages with the
itineraries on. Obviously there is no knowing how much
shopping you will do though!!
What if I am the only
single person travelling will I have to pay the single
supplement?
No! If there is nobody for you
to share with but you booked on the twin share basis
then you will have a single room for the duration of the
trip.
